5
Dentists apply silver ammonium fluoride to schoolchildren's cavities. What is silver ammonium fluoride?

Silver ammonium fluoride is a colorless and transparent solution, which can effectively slow down the deterioration of tooth decay when applied on the surface of tooth decay, and will not harm the human body. It can be safely used in children's mouths.

6
The teeth of school children turned black after being coated with silver ammonium fluoride, will it fade in the future?

The blackening of the teeth after being coated with silver ammonium fluoride is one of the indicators representing the success of the treatment, which proves that the solution successfully inhibits the progression of tooth decay; while the place without tooth decay will not turn black when exposed to the solution. Accidental contact with silver ammonium fluoride may leave brown marks on the skin during treatment, but these fade after about a week.

What should teachers pay attention to after school children receive silver ammonium fluoride treatment?

School children were not allowed to eat or drink within 30 minutes of silver ammonium fluoride treatment. If the solution accidentally gets on skin or clothing, wash it off immediately.
